Tristan Thompson's Net Worth: Khloe Kardashian's Ex Lamar Odom Richer Than Boyfriend?
Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, has a lesser net worth than her ex-husband.
Kardashian and Thompson are expecting their first baby together. Given that the TV personality is earning big in her E! series like "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "Revenge Body" with $40 million net worth, many looked at the NBA player's net worth too and compared it with her ex.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Thompson's net worth is $8 million. The amount is almost four times smaller than Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom who has a net worth of $30 million.
Odom won the honor of the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. The Lakers traded him to Dallas Mavericks for $8.9 million and a first-round draft pick. He bounced back to different teams and officially retired from his basketball profession in 2014 after New York Knicks waived him, Yahoo! Finance reported.
On the other hand, Thompson is currently playing for Cleveland Cavaliers. He is in the midst of a five-year $82 million contract with the team.
Kardashian and Odom tied the knot in 2009. However, the couple split after four years. In 2013, Kardashian filed for divorce but withdrew it in 2015 following Odom's near-fatal drug overdose. She filed for divorce again in 2016.
Kardashian and Odom remain amicable after their separation. In fact, he wishes her well when asked about his comments about Kardashian expecting her first baby with Thompson. "Still got love for her," Kardashian's ex added.
When I became Khloe Kardashian's man and on TV, it made me look more enticing," Odom said. "[Women] came out of the woodwork. If there is one thing I regret when I was married, it was having multiple affairs with different women. That wasn't the stand-up thing to do. I wish I could have kept [it] in my pants."
At the time, Kardashian is waiting for the arrival of her baby with boyfriend, Thompson. Earlier this month, she confessed that she is scared of her belly button turning into an "outie" during her pregnancy. She was relieved to know that not all expectant moms experience an "outie" belly button.
"Thank goodness I snapped about my bellybutton fears. Because so many people are tweeting me saying not everybody's innie becomes an outie!" Kardashian wrote on Twitter. "Wooooooo here's hoping!!"
