Trump Inauguration Update: Latest Full List Of Celebrities Who Refuse To Perform

The inauguration of Donald Trump is just weeks away---and just when you thought the president-elect was through with hearing the word “no” from celebrities who’d refused to perform for him---George Lopez took to Twitter Tuesday to also turn down Trump’s invitation.

The comedian and actor disclosed that upon turning down the invitation, the organizers were so “desperate” they had even asked him for actor Erik Estrada's number.

It appears Trump is unfazed by the lack of performers in this year’s inauguration, which will take place on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, in Washington, D.C. The president-elect claimed that it is the “people” he cares about, as opposed to “The so-called ‘A’ list celebrities."

"The so-called 'A' list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!" Trump tweeted on Dec. 22, 2016.

So far, these are the artists who have already turned down Trump’s inauguration:

1. Celine Dion

Trump’s friend and the owner of the Las Vegas hotel, Steve Wynn, had promised the president- elect he would have Celine Dion perform for his inauguration. But the French singer said “non," according to The Wrap.

2. Elton John

Rumor had it that Elton John was going to perform at Trump's inauguration. However, John's reps said otherwise.

"Incorrect. He will NOT be performing," said Elton’s reps to the New York Times. "There is no truth in this at all."

John later confirmed what his reps said about performing at the Trump inauguration:

"I don't really want my music to be involved in anything to do with an American election campaign. I'm British. I've met Donald Trump, he was very nice to me, it's nothing personal, his political views are his own, mine are very different," John told The Guardian.

He continued, "I'm not a Republican in a million years. Why not ask Ted f-----g Nugent? Or one of those f-----g country stars? They'll do it for you."

3. Justin Timberlake & Bruno Mars

On Fox & Friends, senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, winked to the camera and said, “They can call me, by the way. They can call me," when she was asked whether if the team was trying to book Timberlake and Mars.

4. Katy Perry

As a proud Hillary Clinton supporter, it is safe to say that Perry will not be performing at Trump's inauguration.

5. David Foster

The Canadian singer took to Instagram two weeks ago to clarify any rumors that were said about him. "For the record, I was asked to participate in the upcoming inauguration some time ago and I politely and respectfully declined," he wrote. "Any news outlet that is reporting otherwise is misinformed."

6. Ice T

Rapper Ice T took to Twitter and said he "didn’t pick up" when Trump's team called, eventually blocking the number.

7. Dixie Chicks

Dixie Chicks manager Simon Renshaw said the band will not be performing. "No one is prepared to normalize what is going on in the country right now," he said in an interview with The Wrap. "If anyone does do it, I hope that the check they get is in the nine figures. Because it's probably the last check they're ever going to get."

8. KISS

Asked by TMZ if KISS would be performing at Trump’s inauguration, Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed said “no.” “That’s not to say they didn’t ask,” he added.

9. Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert made it clear that he does not want to be involved with the Trump inauguration.

"I don't think I would take money on that one," he told BBC News. "I don't think I'd be endorsing that. They might struggle."

However, Trump might be able to win over a few famous names for his big day. The 1975’s Matt Healy said he would actually consider it---on one condition.

“I’ll do it if they give me cash up front. Then watch what would happen. It would be a riot,” he told BBC News.

Just this past Monday, British pop singer Rebecca Ferguson said she would not mind performing at Trump’s inauguration, as long as she would be able to sing Billie Holiday's “Strange Fruit."

"I've been asked and this is my answer. If you allow me to sing 'strange fruit' a song that has huge historical importance, a song that was blacklisted in the United States for being too controversial. A song that speaks to all the disregarded and down trodden black people in the United States. A song that is a reminder of how love is the only thing that will conquer all the hatred in this world, then I will graciously accept your invitation and see you in Washington. Best Rebecca X,” Ferguson said on her Twitter account.
