Truth About Angelina Jolie's Daughter Shiloh Begging Dad Brad Pitt To 'Save' Her
Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt really beg her dad to take her in? This is what an outrageous new report is claiming, but there is no proof backing up this claim.
New Idea recently put out a report claiming that Shiloh, 12, was "unhappy" when Jolie took her and her five siblings, Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, along with her to attend various events in New York City last month. The tabloid shared a photo of the Oscar-winning actress and her six children and asserted that Shiloh looked "downcast" and "sullen" not only in the snap but during the whole trip.
A so-called source even claimed that Shiloh called her dad and asked Pitt if he could take her away. "Shiloh’s already been on the phone. She just wants to stay with her dad – she is begging him to come and save her from the drama. He’s heartbroken by it," the questionable tipster claimed.
The report further claimed that Pitt was "blindsided" by Jolie taking off to New York City with their children amid their ongoing divorce and custody negotiations. The "insider" asserted that Pitt is reportedly "beside himself with worry" and feels like "she's taken the kids away from him."
As for why exactly Jolie took the kids to NYC at this time, New Idea claimed that the actress did it in response to Pitt getting back together with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
However, there is absolutely no truth to these claims. Among the bogus claims the report made was that Shiloh had been photographed looking "sullen" throughout their New York stay, but many photos from their outings contradict this. For example, the 12-year-old was all smiles when she joined her mom and siblings Zahara, Pax and Maddox at the Museum of Modern Art for the opening night of the annual Doc Fortnight documentary film festival, where they took in the premiere of Prune Nourry's "Serendipity," according to People.
Shiloh also looked upbeat as she and the whole Jolie-Pitt brood came with their mom to the "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" special screening at Crosby Street Hotel on Feb. 25, USA Today reported.
As for the reason behind Jolie's "revenge," Pitt and Aniston have not gotten back together. While the actor did attend the "Friends" star's lavish 50th birthday bash in California in February, a source told Us Weekly that Pitt came only as a friend showing support to his pal.
Another insider recently told the outlet that Pitt and Aniston, who divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage, are "still in touch" and occasionally communicate with each other, but there is nothing romantic going on between them.
