Truth About Brad Pitt, Jennifer Garner Co-Starring In Movie Amid Dating Rumors
Brad Pitt was not rooting for Jennifer Garner to star with him in the sequel to 2005 action-comedy “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating Garner was approached for the movie.
The news came days after NW reported the two were dating for months and also meeting for hookups at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The tabloid quoted an insider saying Pitt has “approached her about a film he’d like to do with her and they hit it off instantly.”
It went on to claim Angelina Jolie would be furious when she finds out Pitt was dating Garner, and even more enraged to know he was making the sequel with her. It was said romance had sparked between Jolie and Pitt on the sets of the 2005 movie.
The fabricated report looked to be based on the false premise of Pitt and Garner dating after meeting up to discuss a film project. Since the two weren’t dating, it goes without saying they were not coming together for the movie.
While Pitt was currently shooting “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” the actress was gearing up to star in the Netflix comedy “Yes Day .”
Earlier this week, Gossip Cop had debunked another report in the tabloid that falsely claimed Garner was leaning on Pitt as Ben Affleck tried to maintain his sobriety. The tabloid said Garner was “impressed” by Pitt’s commitment to sobriety and he’s “become her rock” amid Affleck’s own struggles with alcoholism.
Amid the rumors, People reported Wednesday that Garner was dating CaliGroup CEO John Miller. The website quoted an insider saying, “They are casually dating but it’s not serious. He hasn’t met her kid.”
A source close to the website had said earlier this month, “Jen has been wanting to move on and now when the divorce is finalized, she finally can. She has had no choice but to be patient since Ben needed to finish his rehab treatment. But she was ready to sign the papers.”
“Jen doesn’t want to be single for the rest of her life, so she is open to dating. She has been on dates, but it seems she isn’t serious about a guy. As always, she is mostly focused on her kids and her job,” the insider added.
In August, Garner was photographed driving Affleck to the rehab, where the actor sought treatment for his alcohol addiction for two months. Earlier this month, the two finalized their divorce as soon as he left his treatment facility. The couple began dating in 2004 and got married in June 2005 before filing for divorce in April 2017.
