Brad Pitt didn’t make a “heartfelt” toast at Jennifer Aniston’s birthday party.

The exes reunited at Aniston’s 50th birthday bash. NW published a report claiming that the “Ad Astra” actor made an unexpected move that surprised the celebrant during the event.

An unnamed source claimed that Pitt and Aniston were chatting with some of their mutual friends when Pitt suddenly said that he wanted to say a few words for Aniston. He was totally off the booze when he raised his glass of water while saying that she meant a lot to him, according to the source.

Aniston was reportedly taken aback and was very touched. In fact, she looked as though she was about to cry due to her ex-husband’s sweet gesture.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report and stressed that the incident never happened. Aniston’s spokesperson also denied it, saying that the story was completely “fabricated.”

This isn’t the only rumor involving the exes during the event. It’s true that Pitt attended Aniston’s birthday bash and some took his attendance at the party to a new level by suggesting that the exes remarried at the star-studded gathering.

New Idea published a report suggesting that Pitt and Aniston had a secret wedding ceremony at the Sunset Tower in the middle of her birthday celebration. The guests were reportedly shocked as they were not expecting it.

The tabloid added that the exes were aware they couldn’t organize a wedding without the plans being leaked, so they decided to just exchange “I dos” at her birthday party. Again, the report was proven to be false.

Aniston took time to accommodate all of her guests at the party including Pitt. Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband and Aniston were spotted catching up for a brief time. She hugged and thanked him for coming but spent most of her time with her girlfriends.

If there is something certain between Pitt and Aniston, it would be their unwavering friendship. According to reports, Pitt and Aniston have remained friends through his ill-fated relationship with Jolie.

Pitt and Aniston split in 2005. Shortly after their breakup, Aniston was shocked to see photos of Pitt and Jolie frolicking on the beach with the “Maleficent” actress’ son, Maddox.
