Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are rumored to have been feuding.

After the former couple was spotted engaging in a tense conversation after Thanksgiving, InTouch Weekly claimed that they know the details of the couple’s very public fight.

The tabloid alleged that Garner and Affleck got into a screaming match last weekend due to the “Batman v Superman” star’s sobriety.

“Jen brought up her concerns that Ben wouldn’t be able to stay sober this holiday season. She was acting out of love, but it set Ben off because he’s been trying so hard after having a slip recently. He’s sober right now and felt Jen was doubting him so they got into a heated argument,” an unnamed source said.

The insider also said that Garner has threatened her ex-husband about banning him from their family’s Christmas celebration if he doesn’t stay sober. However, this is unlikely to happen because Affleck has always celebrated Christmas with his ex-wife and their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, ever since they divorced.

Daily Mail was first to publish the photos of Garner and Affleck while having a tense conversation, but there was no proof that the ex-couple got into a screaming match. The photos showed the “13 Going On 30” star looking angry and upset at her ex-husband, but she wasn’t photographed with her mouth open mid-scream.

Affleck raised both of his hands while arguing with Garner, but he didn’t also scream at his ex-wife. Following their argument, Affleck and Garner reunited for Violet’s 14th birthday.

A source told People that the couple celebrated the special day by buying a Christmas tree, decorating it, and watching a movie. This revelation proves that Affleck and Garner are on good terms, which makes it unlikely for Garner to ban Affleck from celebrating Christmas with their kids.
