Truth About Lady Gaga Canceling Wedding, Dumping Christian Carino For Bradley Cooper
Lady Gaga is reportedly canceling her wedding plans with fiancé Christian Carino because of "A Star Is Born" co-star Bradley Cooper, according to a new rumor. However, this claim has now been proven to be false.
In Touch recently claimed in a report that Lady Gaga, who has been nominated for best actress at the 2019 Oscars for her role in "A Star is Born," wants to end things with Carino because she has feelings for Cooper. A so-called source claimed that Lady Gaga is apparently enjoying the attention and praise she has been receiving lately due to her back-to-back successful projects and has no time to plan a wedding, especially with the Academy Awards happening in February.
"But then there’s the Bradley factor," the questionable tipster said. "They’ve grown incredibly close. If Irina [Shayk] wasn’t with Bradley, I bet Gaga would be with him.”
The In Touch source further claimed that Gaga and Cooper have "feelings" for each other, and the singer has been contemplating on a possible future with the actor.
However, Gossip Cop has completely debunked this story, pointing out that Gaga and Cooper are only friends and are completely committed to their respective partners. In a People magazine interview, Gaga and Cooper also opened up about the bond they developed during the filming of their movie, but there was no indication of anything romantic going on between them.
Gaga and Carino's relationship has been going strong. In fact, he was even Gaga's date to the Golden Globe Awards, where they showed some sweet PDA.
At the National Board of Review awards gala a few days later, Gaga also expressed her love and gratitude to Carino during her speech while accepting the best actress trophy.
"Thank you Christian for loving and taking care of my heart every day," she said.
Last week, Gaga received another trophy for best actress at the Critics' Choice Awards, where she called Carino "my love" during her acceptance speech, according to Us Weekly.
