Truth About Rumors Blake Shelton Is Feeling ‘Pressured’ To Marry Gwen Stefani
KEY POINTS
- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani engagement rumors continue to persist
- Blake Shelton is allegedly pressured to propose to his girlfriend
- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are not yet engaged
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s fans are waiting for the day when the couple would finally announce their engagement.
But even before this happens, reports swirled that the country artist is being pressured to propose to the No Doubt singer.
The allegation came from Celebrity Insider shortly after Shelton appeared on the “Ellen Show.” Host Ellen DeGeneres teased “The Voice” coach by saying that she gave Shelton a clock to remind him that his time is ticking.
“We did that to Jennifer Lopez, and now she’s engaged,” DeGeneres said.
The talk show host is known for her hilarious personality, and it is unlikely that Shelton took offense with what DeGeneres said. At the end of the day, Shelton cannot be pressured into proposing to Stefani because this is something that he will do when they are both ready.
Last month, Stefani and Shelton sparked engagement rumors after the former was photographed with a huge diamond ring. While speaking with E! News, the mom of three said that she and her boyfriend have not gotten engaged.
“It actually doesn’t fit over the glove on [the right] hand so I put it on this hand. But it looks good, right? When I have something to say, I’ll say it,” Stefani stressed.
In June, Shelton told Entertainment Tonight that he’s not offended by all the rumors surrounding his relationship with Stefani. In fact, the “God Gave Me You” singer thinks that they are funny.
Shelton went on to say that if he and Stefani are newsworthy enough for tabloids to make up stories about then it’s a good problem to have. At the moment, the most important thing for the couple is that they are happy with each other.
The couple is expected to celebrate Christmas together with Stefani’s three children just like what they have been doing in the past.
