TV Station Wants Judge To Release Highly Infammatory Video of Casey Anthony
A television station in Orlando, Fla. wants a judge to hand over a jailhouse video which purportedly shows Casey Anthony reacting to news that the remains of her deceased daughter Caylee had been found.
WKMG-TV of Orlando asked for the release of the video last week, and the motion was released by the court on Monday.
Casey was acquitted last week on charges that she murdered her child and will be released from prison shortly. The decision has outraged many across the country who believe she is guilt.
The video was taken by the Orange County Jail in December 2008 just after Caylee's remains were discovered in a forest near her home.
A judge sealed the video in June 2009 and warned that the video’s contents was “highly inflammatory” and that its release could ruin Casey Anthony’s chance for a fair trial.
The video was taken by the Orange County Jail in December 2008 just after Caylee's remains were discovered in a forest near her home.
According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel from 2009, the tape allegedly shows Casey doubling over and hyperventilating upon hearing the news.
