Brad Pitt caused a stir on social media after bringing back his man bun for the 2021 Oscars.

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star returned to the Oscars on Sunday night, and fans were not disappointed when he made his highly-awaited appearance as he looked dapper in a black tuxedo. He didn't walk the red carpet prior to the 93rd Academy Awards and only took the stage midway through the show to present the award for best supporting actress, E! News reported.

Despite this, his brief appearance, and itty-bitty man bun, caught the attention of the audience and social media users.

One fan was not surprised that Pitt is a trending topic again, tweeting, "Is there anything he does that doesn't cause a stir? This dude is the most handsome person in all of human history and that's just a fact people."

"This is the highlight," another wrote, adding, "Wow, I missed out."

Another Twitter user can't get enough of Pitt's styled long locks, writing, "obsessed w brad pitts tiny man bun."

"I literally stood up and clapped for Brad Pitt’s man bun," a fourth user added.

Another fan noticed his silky smooth hair, tweeting, "I did a hair mask in the shower today, took a glow vitamin and I still don’t think my hair looks as nice and shiny as Brad Pitt’s low key man bun."

Others were not as impressed and insisted Pitt looked better without the man bun.

"No no Brad Pitt please take your hair out of the man bun. It’s been a hard year we deserve some joy," one Twitter user commented.

"Omg Brad Pitt and that man bun. Not sure I’m a fan," another added.

"NOT BRAD PITT WITH THE MAN BUN," another netizen wrote.

After presenting the trophy for best supporting actress to Youn Yuh-jung, Pitt helped the South Korean actress, who won for her performance in "Minari," exit the stage following her speech.

During last year's Oscars, Pitt won best supporting actor for his performance as stuntman Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
