Twitter Reacts To Kate Middleton, Prince William Visiting Meghan Markle
Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Windsor.
A few days back, it has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their new home, Frogmore Cottage. Royal correspondent Omid Scobie also announced this on Twitter. However, some netizens weren’t convinced.
“You ok, Omid? Blink twice if you're writing against your will,” one netizen commented.
Another user said that Kensington Palace is working hard to portray an image of unity after trashing Markle for three years and realizing that the royal family has control of the press. “Sorry Omid but NOPE,” the netizen added.
A different user also questioned Omid for pushing the narrative about Middleton being the fairy godmother to Prince Harry and Markle’s baby. The netizen insisted that Prince William and Middleton have never shown any concern for Markle, so she is not buying the report that they visit Markle before adding that she’s sure Queen Elizabeth II forced the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to do it.
Another user said that this is just for PR and is all about “damage control.” Meanwhile, a number of netizens also defended Prince William and Middleton.
According to Jenna Anderson, some got it backward. This is actually Markle cleaning up her narrative of not being welcome to the royal family. The same user insisted that Prince William doesn’t need her, but she needs the future king. Anderson added that Markle is “nobody and easily disposable.”
Other users also said that despite the rumored feuding, Prince Harry and Prince William are related by blood, so this is still possible. A different netizen also stressed how Middleton is campaigning for women and children so it’s “totally plausible” that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge checked on Markle. Also, Middleton and Prince Harry are very friendly.
Middleton has reportedly stepped in to help Prince William and Prince Harry end their “hurtful rift.” The Duchess of Cambridge advised her brother-in-law to give his brother a chance to reopen their channel of communication and the Duke of Sussex seemed to follow his sister-in-law’s advice by inviting them over to their new home in Windsor.
