How Will Kate Middleton, Prince William Celebrate Wedding Anniversary Amid Cheating Rumors?

Kate Middleton and Prince William will be celebrating another milestone in their marriage.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary. Unlike any other couple, it will not be that easy for Prince William and Middleton to just go to a restaurant for a date, but they already find a way to celebrate this occasion.

“But the last couple of years, from what we’ve heard from sources, their anniversaries have been very much family time,” royal expert Omid Scobie said on “The Royal Box.”

“So it’s a time that all the family is together. The children are usually off school at that time. So for them, I think it’s a day of family celebration not just for them as a couple.”

Weeks before Prince William and Middleton’s anniversary, the couple was plugged with cheating rumors. Prince William was accused of infidelity with their family friend Rose Hanbury.

The cheating rumors intensified after Giles Coren tweeted something that seemed to confirm it. According to him, it was indeed an affair and “everyone knows about the affair.” Elaine Lui, co-host of CTV’s daytime talk show “The Social,” said that Giles is a well-connected member of the British media, so his comment gained attention. However, he also has a reputation for being “deliberately provocative and seeking attention.”

A number of royal fans dismissed the rumors and said that Prince William is “much happier” with Middleton. The father of three has a special smile only reserved for his wife.

Another Twitter user said that it’s impossible because Prince William is “too intelligent” to cheat on Middleton. Also, he has a contented married life.

An insider said that Prince William and Middleton are not splitting despite the rumors. Middleton already confronted her husband about the issue and the duke just laughed it off because it’s not true. However, the allegations still somehow rocked the palace and the couple’s marriage.

Prince William was also very affected by it. In fact, he felt sorry for himself and was reportedly “drinking more.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wanted to end the rumors and have already taken legal actions for it. At least one publication received a warning for publishing details of the rumored affair which was “false and highly damaging.”

Prince William and Middleton were last seen together on Easter Sunday. The couple appeared happy and were not showing any signs of a strained marriage.
