  • Several online users defended Prince William, with one saying she also fought with her siblings but wasn't traumatized

Prince Harry accused his big brother, Prince William, of attacking him, and his claim sparked mixed reactions from the netizens.

The Duke of Sussex detailed in his upcoming book "Spare" an alleged attack from his brother, Prince William. He claimed that the Prince of Wales grabbed him by the collar, ripped his necklace and knocked him on the floor.

The allegation received mixed responses from the netizens who witnessed the close bond and falling-out between King Charles and Princess Diana's two sons.

Some netizens sided with Prince Harry, while others defended Prince William. Some online users believed what Meghan Markle's husband wrote about the alleged encounter, convinced that Prince William was a bully and abusive.

"This wasn't a fight. It was an assault. #PrinceHarry #PrinceWilliamisabully," one wrote.

"Just look at Kate Middleton's behavior around Prince William and then tell me why are we surprised about him abusing Prince Harry? Tyler Perry told us about the royal family abusing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He compares it to watching his own mother being abused," another tweeted.

"Something about Prince William being regretful and asking Prince Harry to hit him back after he assaulted him... is really demented," another netizen added. "William may actually have a problem. Harry's reaction to him as well is very much like that of someone who has already been there."

Several also expressed their support for the heir to the throne. Some even wondered if Prince Harry was aware of how his actions would affect the Prince and Princess of Wales's children, his nephews and niece — Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

"How delicious," a royal fan account wrote. "Prince Harry ensures the Royal Family will never invite him back, and now I love Prince William even more."

"#PrinceHarry wants to talk about how he suffered from 'generational trauma' what about the trauma he is causing his niece and nephews? Has he thought once about how they are feeling watching their Uncle and his wife attack and bully their Mother, Father and Grandfather?" another netizen asked.

"Dear #princeharry, my twin brother and I have gotten into countless fights in our 27 years, even physical altercations. I wasn't traumatized and can truly laugh about them now. Your hypocrisy and deep hate for your family is just astounding," a third netizen wrote.

Prince Harry has two interviews set to air Sunday, two days before the release of his highly anticipated memoir "Spare." In the teaser for his ITV interview with Tom Brady, he said he wanted his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, back.

However, British journalist and commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti wasn't convinced. He believed that Prince Harry only acknowledged that "there's no way back" for him and his family.

"He said he wants his brother back, he wants his father back. ... I think that seems a bit rich, to be honest, because Meghan and Harry have done everything they could to alienate themselves from their family. I think they've really fought quite hard to attack the family," the royal expert claimed.
