Retired MMA star Chael Sonnen humiliated UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones and claims that Nate Diaz doesn’t get knocked out.

Ahead of Diaz’s highly anticipated return at UFC 241 against Anthony Pettis, UFC legend Sonnen shares his thoughts about how the match will go down.

On his official Facebook page, Sonnen predicted the Pettis vs. Diaz match. And from his standpoint as a tenured MMA fighter, Sonnen also pointed out some attributes both fighters have which apparently would make the fight very interesting.

According to Sonnen, Pettis is a tremendous fighter but at some point, is still considered an underrated fighter in the sport.

“Pettis is one of the most dynamic guys ever! Pettis’ ground game is definitely the most underrated in the sport,” Sonnen stated.

Sonnen then continued by claiming that Diaz has a different style. According to him, Diaz “just doesn’t’ get knocked out,” a statement which suggests that Pettis won’t be able to score a KO in the fight.

“Diaz is comin’ atcha, Diaz just doesn’t get knocked out. That’s just not what he does. He’s durable,” Sonnen claimed.

Afterwards, the newly retired MMA star jumped into some more technical points. As per Sonnen, Diaz will not show any signs of ring rust despite a long time-off.

"I will at least give you that insight. Everybody who thinks [Diaz] gonna come out and be out of step, I am just going to predict that that’s not we’re going to see. We’re gonna see the same Nate Diaz that we always see,” Sonnen predicted.

Sonnen also hopes that at some point during the fight, both fighters will try to battle it out on the ground.

“I hope that it hits the ground. I really do, I know how much you guys love stand up battles (but) I wanna see em on the ground for a period of time. I wanna see about 2 or 3 minutes,” Sonnen said.

Despite the differences of Pettis and Diaz, Sonnen thinks that the fans will get what their money’s worth as it will be a “fun” fight.

“I think we know what we’re going to get, I think we’re as far as the fight goes, we’re gonna have some fun,” Sonnen said.

On another social media post, Sonnen humiliated Jon Jones by stating that the UFC champ could end up in jail in the future.

The trade of insults started when Sonnen said something about Jones on his podcast titled, “Time is running out for Jon Jones...
