Another UFC fighter challenged Conor McGregor but has a unique idea for selling the fight.

Top UFC lightweight contender Paul Felder wants to welcome McGregor back with an ol' fashioned Irish vs. Irish slugfest. Felder believes that McGregor coming back soon is good news. Not only because he wants to beat the former two-division king’s face but also because he thinks that McGregor has been "holding up the whole division right now."

In a recent talk with TMZ Sports, Felder said that among the list of UFC stars who like to get a crack at McGregor, his name should be included in the conversation too.

"I feel like a lot of guys out there aren’t mentioning my name right now, and if they are they’re ranked way below me," Felder stated.

Felder also made some sort of a teaser of what UFC fans could get should the fight with “The Notorious” come to fruition. According to him, the fight would most likely end up with a knockout or someone will surely be beaten horribly.

"I’ve always done nothing but bring violence and bring excitement to the cage. He’s a striker, I’m a striker, you know what’s gonna happen if a guy like me and him fought."

More importantly, Felder made it clear that he wants to find out who the best Irish fighter is, Because apparently, he too has an Irish blood running through his veins like McGregor.

"If you want to fight someone that’s got that Irish blood in them too, who’s an American, why don’t you fight an Irish-American. Let’s get that Irish-American vs. the real Irishman and see who’s tougher," Felder pointed out.

Before he ended the interview, Felder fired more shots at the UFC star by saying that no matter what McGregor say about him, it’s really not gonna bother him.

“There's more, you can talk about me, you can call me a plastic patty cause I’m the Irish Dragon, you can do all that kind of crap. It’s not really gonna bother me," Felder exclaimed.

After all, Felder seems to recognize how McGregor’s character was built as a fighter. In his final message for “Mystic Mac” strongly suggested that they are both molded in a tough neighborhood and it’s about time to find out who among them has developed into a real martial artist.

"I’m a kid from South Philly who grew up in a neighborhood just as tough as wherever the hell you grew up in Dublin and I’m just gonna show the fans what a real martial artist looks like," Felder continued.
