KEY POINTS
- Kamaru Usman’s camp said that his Twitter was hacked during UFC 246
- The account posted numerous offensive and racist remarks towards Conor McGregor and his wife
- Fans aren’t convinced with the explanation and think it was his manager who did the “hacking”
UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman finally made a statement on his Twitter account – the same account that was said to be “hacked” during UFC 246 that tweeted offensive remarks to Conor McGregor and his wife.
In his post, the 32-year old Usman sees the incident as “sad and scary” and left it out to karma on whoever accessed his personal account.
It’s really sad and scary that we live in a world where someone can wake up only with the intentions to cause harm to someone else. Whomever it was that did what you did Saturday night, Just know that KARMA catches us all 👊🏾.

Reports from Mirror Fighting shared the tweets allegedly posted by the hacker, who has yet to be identified, which was full of expletives and racist remarks.
"Let's be real, my man is a f------ Irish punk who won't be winning today"
"Conor McGregor is a Irish p----, n---- I'll f--- your wife while slapping the f--- outta you punk.”
"I'll be raw dogging the f--- outta [McGregor's] wife on gang n----."
McGregor’s wife, Dee Devlin, was present on the venue during the fight.

The alleged hacker also posted photos of the balance from the bank account of “The Nigerian Nightmare”, which shows that it’s close to $500,000.
Over these series of tweets aimed at the returning McGregor, UFC President Dana White made a call to the Irishman to make sure that everything is in order before walking out of his locker room.
It was later revealed that the UFC head honcho was in panic-mode when he contacted the Irishman knowing that Usman and manager Ali Abdelaziz will be sitting right in front of where the 31-year old will be coming out. Given the background of how Conor McGregor reacts to things, he only wanted to avoid the incident that happened in UFC 229 where McGregor was also involved in a fight outside the octagon.
To the relief of White, McGregor did what he expected him to do and needed just 40 seconds to finish off Donald Cerrone for their welterweight fight. It’s his first win in three years and put him in line to a possible rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
