The Undertaker Loses At WrestleMania 30: 'The Streak' Ends, WWE Fans React To Brock Lesnar's Victory [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
The Undertaker’s loss to Brock Lesnar on Sunday brought Mark William Calaway’s legendary WrestleMania winning streak to an end, drawing stunned reactions from the thousands of fans at the Superdome and the millions watching at home.
Over the last few decades, The Undertaker amassed a perfect record of 21 victories and zero losses, an achievement so unique in WWE that it’s known simply as “The Streak.” During the unprecedented run, the “Deadman” earned victories over Triple H, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and several other wrestling legends.
On Sunday night, the 49-year-old’s bout against Lesnar seemed poised to end in yet another victory -- he kicked out of several of Lesnar’s trademark moves and prepared to land his own finisher, the Tombstone piledriver.
Instead, Lesnar reversed the maneuver, landed his own “F5” finishing move and pinned Calaway for a clean victory. The Undertaker’s record at WrestleMania now stands at 21-1. After Lesnar’s pinfall win, the camera at the Superdome panned over several fans, capturing their stunned and, in some cases, emotional reactions.
WWE fans also took to Twitter to express their disbelief that “The Streak” had finally come to an end. IBTimes put together a roundup of the best fan reactions, tweets, photos and videos from last night’s stunning result.
