‘This Is Us’ Star Justin Hartley Reacts To Kim Kardashian Watching NBC Drama
Everyone is watching “This Is Us,” even the Kardashians. Kim Kardashian revealed to her Twitter followers that she is starting the NBC hit, and star Justin Hartley reached out to encourage the mogul to binge-watch.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star tweeted late Wednesday night that she had started watching “This Is Us,” which follows the Pearson family through the ups and downs of their life. She asked her followers if the tearjerker is any good, and Justin Hartley tweeted to confirm.
“A good time to start if you ask me,” Hartley wrote. He told her that with the second season wrapping up, a binge-watch wouldn’t be a daunting task. He also hinted at the show’s many emotional twists.
Of course, Hartley might be a little biased since he is a cast member. He plays Kevin Pearson, an actor battling alcohol addiction.
The “Smallville” alum actually referenced the famous family on “This Is Us,” and it doesn’t seem like Kevin is a “KUWTK” fan. In the Season 2 premiere, a scene in which he talked about the family’s staying power made headlines.
“The Kardashians aren’t going anywhere. They’re like gremlins,” Kevin tells his girlfriend after she laments missing an opportunity to meet one of them. “By next week, there’ll be, like, a bazillion more of ‘em.”
The line was particularly funny because the scene was filmed before all the Kardashian pregnancy rumors, but it aired while Kim, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were all rumored to be expecting babies.
The last of those rumors was not confirmed until earlier this month. Kylie gave birth to a baby girl, Stormi, on Feb. 1. The 20-year-old waited until her and Travis Scott’s daughter was born to share the news. Kim and Kanye West’s third child, Chicago, was born Jan. 15 via surrogate. Meanwhile, Khloe is still waiting to give birth to her first child with Tristan Thompson.
Though Kim is busy being a mom, starring in her reality series, running her KKW beauty line and executive producing shows like “Glam Masters,” the business maven seems to still find time to binge-watch popular series.
Last year, she tweeted she was watching Netflix’s creepy hit, “Stranger Things.” Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown was very excited to hear that.
