Valentine’s Day 2015 Freebies: 12 Deals You Can Find On Feb. 14
Valentine’s Day is a holiday during which many people are expected to show their love by reaching into their wallets, but V-Day doesn’t have to put anyone into debt. Tons of businesses are offering freebies and deals this year.
Restaurants such as Waffle House and White Castle are taking their casual dining up a notch and letting couples make reservations with tableside service. Dairy Queen is allowing people to preorder red velvet Cupid Cakes while Einstein Bros Bagels is letting customers to preorder heart-shaped bagels.
But the real deals are the ones that allow people to save money. Even if Valentine’s Day has become Singles Awareness Day (SAD), free stuff is always great. Check out what free items you can find in stores and restaurants on Feb. 14.
1. Qdoba is offering a buy one, get one free smothered burrito deal. However, those participating have to kiss someone. It doesn’t have to be a significant other, but you’ll have to bring someone (or find a willing stranger).
2. Get a free slice of pizza on Valentine's Day with a coupon from Sbarro when you sign up for its mailing list.
3. Do you have a special someone who loves Krispy Kreme? The doughnut shop is offering free e-cards this Valentine's Day.
4. Kay Jewelers is giving away a free Charmed Memories bracelet or charm with any $99.99 Charmed Memories purchase.
5. Reese’s is offering a coupon for one free Reese’s candy item.
6. McDonald’s may select you to “Pay with Lovin'” instead of cash. An "act of Lovin'" (like hugging someone or calling a loved one) will pay for your meal, but customers are randomly selected to participate.
7. Steak ’n Shake will give away a free Valentine’s milkshake to anyone who buys $10 in gift cards.
8. Things Remembered has several free items. “Love” can be engraved on anything for free with the coupon code "LOVE." A heart frame is free when engraved, and various keepsake jewelry boxes are free with jewelry purchases.
9. American Eagle's Aerie has free shipping on the holiday.
10. CVS is offering buy one, get one free deals on all Russell Stover and Whitman’s 7-ounce to 12-ounce boxes of candy for Valentine's Day.
11. Dollar Tree will sell you two Valentine's Day cards for $1. This offer is valid in stores only.
12. Macy’s has free cosmetics bags for customers who purchase $80 or more in fragrances.
