Fans of the hugely successful "Vampire Diaries" are gearing up for the mid-season finale, which will bring blood, drama and a series of twists and turns that has made this show as successful as it is. The CW series is calling it "Fifty Shades of Grayson," but will we get to see any kink?

While the level of kink is still unclear, we do know that episode 10 will be full of drama as it unfolds in Mystic Falls and Whitmore College. While episodes 8 and 9 left us with some clues as to what exactly will go down, some of the characters and their fates are still unclear.

While secrets are exposed, fans can expect to see more from the character of Damon, and his relationship with Elena, which according to IBTimes reporter Amanda Remling, could end in the dramatic mid-season finale. It appears the Damon will discover that Elena is in trouble, but whom will he enlist to help her, and will be able to save his love?

But one of the biggest events of the episode could be a scenario in which two of the main characters switch bodies. Remling has been working on the theory that Katherine could in fact switch bodies with Elena. But will the drama end there?

The mid-season finale of "The Vampire Diaries" will air on the CW Thursday night.
