‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In The Midseason Finale Christmas Special? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
Christmas will come early for “Vampire Diaries” fans. The hit CW series will be celebrating the holiday a couple weeks early with episode 10, which will double as the Season 6 midseason finale.
Episode 10, titled “Christmas Through Your Eyes” will find the group separated as the holiday season approaches. After Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) failed attempt to get Bonnie (Kat Graham) back in episode 9, the witch will be stuck in 1994 trying to make the best out of her situation. Bonnie will “replicate her favorite traditions” and look to flashbacks to reminisce about “happier times with her friends” in order to get through the holidays.
Meanwhile Caroline (Candice Accola) will struggle with the idea of spending Christmas away from Mystic Falls. Her mom, Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) will surprise the blue vampire by bringing the celebration to Caroline’s Whitmore College dorm. But “Vampire Diaries” viewers shouldn’t expect happy endings for their favorite characters.
With Kai (Chris Wood) back in the land of the living, Alaric (Matt Davis) will find that Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) has gone missing. Despite being on the outs with Damon, Alaric will turn to his old friend and Elena for help in finding Jo before Kai does something terrible. And they’re not the only ones worrying about Kai’s deadly return. Tyler (Michael Trevino) will approach Liv (Penelope Mitchell) and Luke (Chris Brochu) about a “risky plan” that will put them at odds. Does it have something to do with Kai’s visit with Tyler at the end of episode 9? The twisted Gemini Coven witch asked Tyler if he was interested in “making a deal with the devil.” And since Tyler is bent on protecting Liv, it sounds like he took the bait.
As chaos ensues with the Kai situation, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) will attempt to carry out their plan of attack on Enzo (Michael Malarkey). Angry with Enzo after he killed “Sarah Salvatore,” Matt’s ready to do whatever it takes to stop the vampire. However Jeremy will “grow concerned when Matt takes things too far.”
Finally, “Vampire Diaries” fans can look forward to seeing Caroline and Stefan (Paul Welsey) reunite – however under a grave situation. Stefan will be “forced to break some devastating news to Caroline.”
