‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Caroline Reveals Why Stefan Has To See Valerie In Episode 5 Sneak-Peek Video

Caroline might be sending her boyfriend into the lion’s den in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 5. In a sneak-peek video, Caroline (Candice King) tells Bonnie (Kat Graham) why she sent Stefan (Paul Wesley) to go see his ex-girlfriend Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore). Bonnie isn’t so sure it’s the right call, but another clip shows that she has her own concerns. She needs to make sure there won’t be any consequences for bringing Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) back.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Bonnie enters her dorm and asks if it’s safe to come in. It sounds like the witch may have caught an unwanted look at Stefan and Caroline’s happy reunion. “Is it safe to enter or is your boyfriend still half-naked under the sheets?” Bonnie asks.

Caroline apologizes, but Bonnie is happy that Caroline has a love life, which is more than she can say for herself. “Don’t look at me for advice,” Caroline says. “I just sent my boyfriend to spend the day with his first love.”

Bonnie is shocked that Caroline would ever want Valerie and Stefan in the same room. “You are either completely insane or the most secure woman in the world,” she says.

“He has this habit of bottling all of his hurt feelings,” Caroline explains. “I think it would be really good for them if they could just clear away all the 19th century drama so they can get on with their lives.”

Bonnie deems her the most secure woman in the world, and then she has to head out. Caroline hopes that she is going to meet a boy, but Bonnie says she doesn’t have time for that. “I’m going to Mystic Falls to discuss magic with a heretic I just brought back to life… and then maybe I’ll go meet a guy,” Bonnie says.

Sneak Peek No. 2

Potential boyfriends are nowhere to be seen in the second sneak peek. Bonnie heads over to Alaric’s (Matt Davis), and he asks if Jo’s 12-hour snooze is normal. “Yesterday she was dead. Today she’s alive. I’m not sure normal applies,” Bonnie says.

Bonnie gives him a box of term papers, and Alaric offers her a job as a teaching assistant. “All you have to do is write ‘interesting point’ in a few margins and then give everyone a B+,” he explains.

Though it’s tempting, Bonnie would rather investigate Jo's revival. “Now that I have a little breathing room, I want to figure out what kind of magic I was dealing with just in case I opened Pandora’s rock,” Bonnie says.

Alaric gives her the Phoenix Stone, and as soon as she leaves, Jo wakes up. “How are you feeling?” Alaric asks.

“Hungry,” Jo says.
