‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘This Woman’s Work’? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 finally revealed their feared vampire hunter last week, and that means she’s causing trouble in the present and future timelines now. Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff) was reincarnated from a senior citizen to a young adult. Even though Enzo (Michael Malarkey) helped her, she'll still escape. Now he has to hunt down the Huntress before she comes after him in the CW's episode 13.

Enzo knows that vampires don’t voluntarily get in the Huntress’ way, not even Damon (Ian Somerhalder). He’ll use blackmail to get his way. “Meanwhile, after uncovering a dark secret about Damon, Enzo uses the information to force Damon into helping him track down Rayna,” the synopsis reveals.

However, Enzo might not realize just how unreliable Damon currently is. He is still drowning in his pity party after mistakenly setting Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) body on fire. “When Damon's actions inadvertently put everyone he loves in Rayna's path, he is forced to make things right before it's too late,” the summary says.

The trailer reveals that the episode, titled “This Woman’s Work,” will give audiences a glimpse into Rayna’s past. However, Damon also makes an observation that many viewers made last week: “You look a lot like my girlfriend who had three doppelgangers.”

Elsewhere, Caroline (Candice King) hasn’t given birth yet, but her babies are already causing problems. The children are siphons, and they’re feeding on Caroline’s vampire powers. However, they’re getting a little too hungry. At the end of last week’s installment, Caroline’s entire body was desiccating and she couldn’t call out for anyone to help her. In episode 13, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) will rush to save her.

According to the synopsis, Caroline isn’t dead yet, but she is in danger. Stefan and Valerie “take extreme measures to try and save her and the babies,” the synopsis teases. Since we’ve already seen her and the twins alive and well in the flash-forwards, it’s a safe bet that their plan will work.
