‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 12 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Postcards From The Edge’? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is going off the deep end on “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 — and at this point, that’s pretty far down. Last week, the Phoenix Stone led him to try to kill Henry (Evan Gamble), his Civil War buddy from his hallucinations. However, once he lit Henry on fire, the soldier just reappeared behind him. Damon looked down to see that he’d actually torched Elena's (Nina Dobrev) body. In episode 12 of the CW drama, titled “Postcards from the Edge,” Damon will try to avoid facing consequences for his actions.
According to the synopsis, the older Salvatore “finds himself without a care in the world, spiraling out of control and under the influence of a dangerous and reckless Julian (Todd Lasance).” Apparently, Damon’s recent tragedy has made him forget who the enemy is. Still, Stefan (Paul Wesley) won’t give up on his brother. He “attempts to reason with Damon only to uncover the devastating reason for his descent.”
Judging from the trailer, Stefan’s not going to be so supportive. He punches Damon in the face after he discovers Elena’s supposed death. Damon will be lucky if that’s his only reaction. Watch the promo video for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 12 below:
Stefan will be spending more time away from Caroline (Candice King) again. She’ll even have to turn to a Heretic for help. “Caroline begins having some dangerous side effects as a result of her supernatural pregnancy and is forced to turn to Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) for help,” the synopsis reveals.
Meanwhile, Bonnie (Kat Graham) will be busy with the other female Heretics. It seems Bonnie, Nora (Scarlett Byrne) and Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) will go on a road trip. They will “attempt to track down a ruthless vampire hunter named Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff) after they suspect that she has reemerged,” the synopsis teases. It doesn’t look like much fun for Mary Louise. In a sneak-peek video, she can tell that Nora and Bonnie are bonding, and she seems a little jealous. Watch the clip below:
Though he isn’t mentioned in the episode 12 summary, this will be the first time audiences will see Enzo (Michael Malarkey) since he was abducted. Could his disappearance be connected to the new vampire hunter?
“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 12 airs Friday at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
