‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Episode 14 Synopsis, Promo Video And Photos Released

Damon made a bad deal last week on “The Vampire Diaries.” He wanted Kai to bring Elena back, but the witch was feeling vindictive. He felt himself being pulled back to hell, so he made both himself and Elena’s casket disappear. The vampire will have to find his love in Season 8, episode 14, but he might have to defeat the devil first.

Stefan will help Damon (Ian Somerhalder) save Elena (Nina Dobrev), but it isn’t Kai they have to worry about. “Damon and Stefan must join forces against Cade (Wolé Parks) in order to save Elena’s casket,” the synopsis for the CW drama reveals.

It was Kai who took Elena, but Cade likely doesn't feel inclined to help the Salvatores. In the photos below, it looks like Damon has to worry about his brother more than the devil. For some reason, Stefan feels he must sedate Damon. He is pictured apparently giving Damon a shot of vervain.

The promo video at the top of the page reveals that Stefan will have another mission in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8, episode 14. He blames himself for Cade’s freedom, so he decides that he has to be the one to kill Stefan. Damon will object to his heroic plan, and that might be what gets him a vervain injection.

Elsewhere, other magical beings are causing problems. “Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice King) and Alaric (Matt Davis) deal with their daughters’ burgeoning magical powers,” the synopsis reveals. Viewers saw last week that the twins were using their powers more, and one of them even hurt Caroline. Could they be a danger to their family?

Episode 14 is titled “It’s Been a Hell of a Ride,” and that’s something Damon said to Elena in Season 1, episode 20. It was the episode where Elena learned about how the Salvatores became vampires. Will this episode also give us another history lesson? Viewers will have to tune in to see.
