‘Vanderpump Rules’ Couple Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright Repairing Relationship After Cheating Scandal

“Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor has opened up about his relationship with Brittany Cartwright following his admission that he cheated on his girlfriend before. Contrary to what previous rumors claimed, he and Cartwright never broke up.

Taylor addressed the elephant in the room when he talked about how his relationship with Cartwright has been after confirming that he had cheated on her in an interview with Us Weekly. “I was shocked. I love her very much, and that’s not what I wanted. It was just a bad time that we were going through,” he came clean of the cheating incident that took place more than two years ago.

In the latest episode of “Vanderpump Rules,” the 38-year-old was seen admitting to having been unfaithful to his girlfriend. Taylor revealed in the episode that he had slept with a former SUR employee named Faith Stowers two and a half years ago.

In his interview, Taylor said that he is well aware of the repercussions of his cheating scandal and he is working on it. “I do have a lot of making up to do, I still do, I am making it up. And it’s a work in progress.”

Taylor then disclosed that since airing his dirty laundry on national TV, he and Cartwright are the “best we’ve ever been.” He even added that while they are currently repairing their relationship, he has realized that Cartwright is really the one for him.

“Seeing how she is with people, seeing how she is with me, I don’t really want to be with anybody else. And then I also don’t want her to be with anybody else. And so, I don’t want to lose her. So if marriage is what we need to do, then that’s what we’re gonna do,” he said.

Taylor echoed the same sentiments when he spoke with People this Tuesday. “We’ve kind of weather the storm. We’re still going through it … [but] we’re in a great place now — probably better than we’ve ever been. I can say the last eight months have been better than when we first started dating.”

The former model also acknowledged that he is regretting the cheating incident. However, he maintained that he is not regretting his decision to be part of the Bravo series. “I regret the decisions I make. At the end of the day, I make my own decisions, I’m the one that chose to do all these things, but do I regret doing the show? Absolutely not.”

“I put my life out there. I signed up for a reality show,” Taylor explained. “I don’t pick and choose what I want to talk about, it’s all out there, whether you like it or you don’t. But it’s real, and that’s what it is.”
