‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Feels ‘Peaceful’ About Randall Emmett Split, Single Mom Status
Reality star Lala Kent has embraced her new life as a single mom following her split with Randall Emmett, but she recently admitted she has some doubts about what the future holds.
During the Wednesday episode of her “Give Them Lala” podcast, the “Vanderpump Rules” star opened up about her feelings ahead of her first holiday as a single mom.
“I’m going into my first holiday in many years as a single mom,” Kent told listeners. “I feel like I should be a little bit more concerned about it. I’m actually feeling really peaceful.
However, Kent revealed her feelings may change as the holiday gets closer and she has more time to think about her current situation.
The former couple shares an 8-month-old daughter, Ocean. Emmett also has two daughters, London, 11, and Rylee, 7, with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.
News of Kent and Emmett’s split surfaced in October when the producer was spotted at a hotel in Nashville with two women.
During the episode, Kent stated she was “big on accountability” and owning one’s mistakes. “When I behave a certain way — this that or the other way — I’m a firm believer that the universe has always held me accountable, and it’s made me sit here and face things and be truthful and honest.”
She continued, “I know that I mess up sometimes, but I am very proud of my evolution. And when I look in the mirror, I know that I am a good human being, and that’s good enough for me.”
Kent went on to reveal she saw the photos of Emmett with the women and knew it was time to pull the plug on their relationship.
“The second that I felt unsafe — I said this in therapy — I said, ‘The second I get a pit in my stomach, it’ll be a different conversation,’” she explained.
The reality star revealed she followed her intuition and end the romance. While reflecting on the relationship, she admitted her “head has been in the sand,” and she missed a lot of red flags.
Following the breakup, a source told People Kent is “focusing all of her attention” on her daughter and career.
