"Vanderpump Rules" star Scheana Shay is weighing in on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's breakup.
Shay recently spoke with Page Six as she promoted her new Bella Boss capsule collection. When asked if she believes Kent and Randall's split is permanent, the 36-year-old reality star said, "Yes."
Shay added that Kent, 31, is holding up well after calling off her three-year engagement with Emmett, 50. "She's a strong woman," Shay said of her co-star. "She's got all of her businesses, she's got a lot on her plate, but she's going to be just fine."
Kent broke up with Emmett last month after he allegedly cheated on her in Nashville, Tennessee, Page Six previously reported.
The Give Them Lala CEO first sparked split rumors after she deleted or archived her Instagram photos with the Hollywood producer. She also "liked" a social media post about Emmett’s alleged interactions with two women in Music City.
Kent then shared video footage of herself checking into the Beverly Hills Hotel with their 8-month-old daughter, Ocean.
Shay, whose own divorce from ex-husband Mike Shay played out on "Pump Rules" in 2017, made it clear that she didn't "want to see any family torn apart, whether it's a divorce or a breakup."
"Ocean’s parents are now not under the same roof, and that’s devastating for any family," she continued. "I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy, and she is far from my worst enemy. She’s a good friend, so it was really upsetting to hear about all of that. And I just wish them all the best. I hope for Ocean they can come to a good arrangement for her sake."
Kent and Shay's friendship appears fragile in the current season of "Vanderpump Rules." However, the latter said that they were now "in a really good place" and that their bond was "very solid," which viewers will be able to see in the second half of the season.
In Season 9, Kent revealed during a group scene that Shay's fiancé, Brock Davies, had been involved in a violent argument with his ex-wife in his native Australia when he was 19, causing tension between her and Shay. Davies, 30, who hasn't seen his ex-wife and their two children in years, also shares 7-month-old daughter Summer Moon with Shay.
Davies later owned up to his past in an emotional conversation with SUR boss Lisa Vanderpump.
"I understand that [Lala] was doing her job, and her job was to bring up some information that was brought to her. I disagree with how she did it," Shay said of the incident. "I think she could’ve pulled me aside, and that should’ve been a one-on-one conversation. Bringing it up in front of Lisa and in front of Katie [Maloney], who can be quite judgy, that really upset me."
Some of Shay's supporters characterized Kent's split from Emmett as karmic retribution for bringing up Davies' personal drama. But the "Shake That" singer made it clear that she found no joy in watching what happened to her pal.
"Honestly, I don’t want to see anyone go through that," Shay said.
Kent is doing good and even launched her "bRand new" merch, which is modeled after her modified tattoo of Emmett's name. She also posted a snap with her daughter on Instagram for Thanksgiving, sharing that she remains grateful despite her struggles.
"The time flew by. Here I am, with an 8-month-old daughter, in a very different place than I was last year...but I will say, I am so happy, and I am so grateful," she wrote. "This little angel face has changed my world, being the light in times that could be dark. Let's remember what's important today. Happy Thanksgiving to you, all."
"Vanderpump Rules" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
