A former model, Vanessa grew up on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. She appeared alongside Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton in the hit romantic comedy film “Something’s Gotta Give.”

Though not as rich as the Trumps, she was accustomed to living a high-flying lifestyle, as per Vanity Fair. She reportedly dated celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Saudi diplomat Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, before marrying Donald Jr.

Vanessa was introduced to Donald Jr. by the latter’s father at a fashion show in 2003.

They got married in 2005 and separated in 2018. They have five children: Donald John III, Kai Madison, Tristan Milos, Chloe Sophia and Spencer Frederick.

The couple’s split happened a year after Vanessa received an estimated $62 million fortune from her father’s stake in Rao’s Homemade pasta sauce, according to South China Morning Post.

Sources told Page Six that Vanessa divorced Donald Jr. because he allegedly treated her like a second-class citizen.

One source said he gave her “very little help and has been keeping her on a tight budget. She doesn’t live a lavish life and can very rarely pick up a check at dinner.”

“Don Jr. was never generous with money. Vanessa has had to rely on her mother for financial help for her personal needs,” another source said.

However, Vanessa’s spokesperson denied that he treated her poorly, saying, “All of these claims are simply not true. Don and Vanessa have tremendous respect for each other and always have. The notion that she has had to rely on her family for assistance is absolutely false and utterly ridiculous.”

Donald Jr. is now dating former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Vanessa previously expressed her support for her ex-husband’s new relationship.

“We’ve been separated for over 9 months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy,” Vanessa wrote on Twitter in June 2018. “We’ll focus on raising our great kids. Would be nice if the press did the same rather than obsess over our pvt lives!”
