Following the Oct. 31 recall for frozen raspberries and berry mixes with raspberries sold at Aldi and Raley’s stores because they may be contaminated with Hepatitis A, Mann Packing Co. Inc. has issued several recalls for a series of vegetable products because they may be contaminated with Listeria.

The recall affects vegetables that were sold at a variety of retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada, under the U.S. brands of HEB, Del Monte, HEB Organic, Hungryroot, Kroger Organic, Mann’s, Mann’s Family Favorite, Mann’s Organic, Mann’s Snacking Favorites, Marketside, Marketside Organics, O Organics, Signature Farms, Sysco Imperial, Sysco Organics, and Trader Joe’s and the Canadian brands of Mann’s, Western Family, Compliments, Mann’s Family Favorites, and Mann’s Snacking Favorites,

The recalled vegetables have a Best If Enjoyed By date of October 11, 2019, through November 16, 2019. A full list and labels of the recalled vegetables in the U.S. can be viewed here. A full list and labels of the recalled vegetables in Canada can be viewed here.

Mann Packing said it is issuing the recall “out of an abundance of caution.” The company also said it has not received any reports of illnesses related to the recalled vegetables to date.

Listeria can cause serious and, in some instances, fatal infections in young children, elderly adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms of Listeria infection include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
