American tennis star Venus Williams was moments away from a Janet Jackson moment Saturday during an exhibition match in Milan against Italian tennis player Flavia Pennetta.

The left strap of Williams' dress snapped during the game nearly exposing her breast. Williams was quickly able to catch the strap and cover her chest. The wardrobe malfunction did not seem to bother Williams, who walked off the court laughing and smiling before changing into a new outfit. Williams returned soon thereafter and shared popcorn with Pennetta before finishing the match. The Italian player won the two-set match 7-6, 7-2.

Williams' dress was reportedly part of her self-designed sportswear line, EleVen.

Saturday was not Williams' first experience showing a bit too much skin. The 31-year old tennis player is known to wear racy outfits and ensembles that are controversial and eye-catching. Williams has worn an illusion dress with sheer panels, skin colored underwear causing many to wonder if she was wearing underwear at all and a black and red lingerie-like dress that turned heads that the French Open in 2010.
