A little boy enjoying a day at a zoon with his family was unfazed when a full grown lion creeped up on the protective glass.

The young boy was out at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana, when the family stopped to enjoy the lion exhibit. As the family enjoyed the sights, the young boy took a seat in front of the protective glass separating the onlookers from the lions. As he sat there, a 3-year-old lion named Zuri snuck up on the boy and started slapping its paw on the glass.

An on-looker managed to catch it on video and post it online.

Despite Zuri slapping the glass, the boy did not realize the lion was there initially. Instead, he turns around and smiles at the sight of the lion so close to the glass. A woman then seats a young girl next to the boy to take a picture as Zuri continues swatting at the glass to no avail.

Joel Hamilton, the general curator and vice president of Audubon Zoo, revealed afterwards that the new habitat was only finished recently. The lions were put in the new space not long after and “are still adjusting to their new home.”

Hamilton also said neither the boy or Zuri were at fault, but simply cautioned people from actions like tapping on the glass for the safety of the animals.
