VIDEO: Virginia Man Runs Naked, Arrested By Police After Allegedly Killing Baseball Player's Family

The bodies of a minor-league baseball player’s family were found dead Tuesday in rural Virginia, leading police to arrest an 18-year-old man on three counts of first-degree murder.
The victims were related to Tampa Bay Rays minor league relief pitcher Blake Bivens and included his wife, son and mother-in-law. Their bodies were discovered at their home in Keeling, Virginia, with one of the women found dead on the driveway and the other woman and child were found inside.
Police quickly identified Bivens' brother-in-law, Matthew Thomas Bernard, as a primary suspect and began a manhunt for him.
Local police quickly spread out in an effort to locate Bernard, who was suspected to still be near the Virginia-North Carolina border town. He was eventually located running naked around the surrounding wooded area just after 12 p.m.
The bizarre arrest scene was captured by WSET-TV, an ABC affiliate in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Bernard can be seen running through the streets, eventually chasing the officer present that pepper-sprayed Bernard in response. Bernard is then seen assaulting a man later identified as the Keeling Baptist Church’s caretaker before running away again.
Bernard continues down the street until he is eventually stopped by responding officers, who promptly arrest him for triple homicide.
After news broke of the murders, the Tampa Bay Rays and their Double-A team, the Montgomery Biscuits, both took to Twitter to offer support for the 24-year-old pitcher. The Biscuits also announced they canceled a doubleheader scheduled to take place in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
