‘Vikings’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Leaked Online; What Will Happen During The Season Finale, ‘The Lord’s Prayer’?
Start sharpening your swords and cleaning off your battle axes, dear “Vikings” fans, because the hit History Channel series is less than a week away from airing its highly anticipated Season 2 finale. Bittersweet, isn’t it? Although it bums us to say farewell to the bearded and braided beauties of Kattegat, we’re pretty darn excited to see how episode 10, “The Lord’s Prayer,” will pan out when the finale airs Thursday, May 1, at 10 p.m. EDT.
According to the synopsis of episode 10, fans of the historical drama can anticipate even more heart-stopping moments to occur when “Vikings” returns to the small screen. Oh yeah, we’ll even go out on a limb to say that episode 10 will cause your blood to boil more than when you thought Rollo was dead. Seriously, if you thought Twitter was a sea of disgruntled “Vikings” fans when Rollo was lying lifeless on the ground, just wait until you find out what King Horik’s proposition to Floki is.
The King and Ragnar have been at each other’s throats for quite some time now. We honestly think it began when King Horik told the Earl to uninvite Jarl Borg from their raid -- how childish. Since then, the two have consistently been butting heads, trying to prove which one is the alpha male. Although King Horik holds the more prestigious title, Ragnar has shown great leadership skills. And unfortunately, King Horik is well aware. That’s why he wants to take Ragnar out … but how?
Siggy will play a crucial part to King Horik’s plan as Rollo’s weasel of girlfriend informs the King that Ragnar’s weakness is his family. You saw how passionately Ragnar killed Borg Blood Eagle style -- and that was for just simply threatening his family! What would Ragnar do if King Horik was to actually hurt one of his boys?
That’s why King Horik won’t be the one to get his hands dirty. He’ll use Floki and Siggy as his paws in his plan of destruction. But will they comply?
“Ragnar and King Horik return to Kattegat and the final showdown between two Viking leaders is at hand,” the synopsis teases. “Ragnar has placed his trust in those who have stood by him and now the time has come for new alliances to be made.”
We know Siggy is looking to advance her role in the village but do you honestly think Floki would betray his old friend? Sound off in the comments section below. We’d love to hear what you think!
