The next big trailer of “Vikings” Season 6 may be released at the San Diego Comic Con. Lead cast members Katheryn Winnick and Alexander Ludwig have been confirmed to be a part of the team who will be meeting with the fans at the event.

Winnick, who will be reprising her role as Queen Lagertha, made the announcement on Instagram. “Prepare for battle and test your axe throwing skills,” the actress wrote in her post.

The ‘Vikings” team will be there at the San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 20 between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST. Special appearances will be between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Winnick said that she can’t wait to “drop in on the fun.”

“Throw It San Diego!” Winnick wrote in her post to express her excitement.

This may be the last time that the actress and her colleagues from the show will be attending the Comic Con for the TV series, unless they announce a spin-off series and cast some of the same actors in it.

“Vikings” has essentially been a story about the legendary warrior Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and his sons. Lagertha has also been a very big part of that story. With Season 6, that story will end.

After filming all her scenes for the show, Winnick has been keeping herself busy by practicing self-defence moves and giving her fans some serious health goals. The actress previously shared a picture of her doing a high kick. “If anybody needs me...I’ll be over here kicking some butt,” she wrote in that post.

Meanwhile, Ludwig is busy filming scenes for a new movie. The actor recently shared a few pictures of the cast and crew filming at the Anderson Air Force Base, where the team got a chance to go on a C-130 and film the scenes they needed. The actor didn’t name the film, but called the work “operation Christmas drop.”

“Vikings” Season 6 is expected to be released some time later this year. The producers are yet to announce an exact premiere date.
