'The Voice' Season 22 Premiere: Meet The Judges For 2022 NBC Series
When "The Voice" returns to NBC for its Season 22 premiere on Monday, aspiring artists will be given the chance to showcase their talent and win a major prize with the help of a celebrity coach.
The singing competition, which finds talented singers based solely on their voice rather than looks, will feature a new face on the judge's panel.
Before "The Voice" Season 22 premieres, take some time to learn more about the judges, one of whom will guide a contestant to win the grand prize of a recording contract.
Blake Shelton
After helping eight contestants win the grand prize, Shelton will return to the four-time Emmy Award-winning series for its 22nd season. Shelton has been a judge on the singing competition since 2011, when it first premiered. Outside of the judge's chair, the "Happy Anywhere" country singer has racked up numerous awards, including 11 CMT Awards, 10 CMAs, six People's Choice, five ACM Awards, and three American Music Awards. Grammy Award-nominated country music singer Jimmie Allen will be the Battle advisor for Team Blake.
Gwen Stefani
Stefani, who has served as a coach on numerous seasons of "The Voice," will return to the famous judge's panel once again. With hit songs like "Hollaback Girl" and "Rich Girl," Stefani's talent has earned her four MTV Video Music Awards, three Grammys, two Billboard Awards, and an American Music Award, among other accolades. Grammy Award-winning rapper Sean Paul will be the Battle advisor for Team Gwen.
John Legend
After joining the judge's panel in season 16, the EGOT winner will return in hopes of helping one contestant win the coveted title of "The Voice." With 12 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a variety of other trophies, Legend will have more than enough experience to advise aspiring singers. Two-time Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan will be the Battle advisor for Team Legend.
Camila Cabello
Cabello may be a first-time coach, but she is no stranger to singing competitions. The singer gained recognition in 2012 after appearing on Season 2 of "The X Factor" and being placed in the group Fifth Harmony. Although they didn't win, Fifth Harmony was later signed by Simon Cowell and released two albums before Cabello went solo in 2016. Throughout her solo career, Cabello won several awards, including four American Music Awards, two Latin Grammy Awards, and a Billboard Music Award. Grammy Award-nominated singer Charlie Puth will be the Battle advisor for Team Camila.
"The Voice" Season 22 premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
