‘Walking Dead’ Marathon Over July 4th Weekend To Lead To Season 5 Preview Special

Forget about fireworks and barbeques on July Fourth weekend – AMC is showing a “Walking Dead” marathon that will lead into a special look at the highly anticipated Season 5.

Starting on Friday, July 4, at 9 a.m. EDT, the network will host a “Dead, White and Blue” weekend that will air all four seasons of “The Walking Dead” back to back. The zombie apocalypse overload will segue to a “Talking Dead” Season 5 preview hosted by Chris Hardwick on Sunday, July 6, at 9 p.m. EDT. Hardwick will be joined by showrunner and executive producer Scott M. Gimple and “Archer” actress Aisha Tyler.

“Walking Dead” fans can also look forward to two documentaries that will premiere on AMC. “Inside The Walking Dead” will air on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 p.m. EDT, an inside look at how the producers map out and craft the show. On July 15, “Inside The Walking Dead: Walker University” will give viewers a look at the show’s “zombie school,” where extras transform into the living dead.
