“The Walking Dead” Season 10, episode 9 will pickup from the cliff-hanger in the mid-season finale. Executive producer Angela Kang teased some details about the show in a recent interview and revealed what the fans can expect to see when the show returns.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kang said that the fans will see how the heroes will navigate their way out of the dangerous cave when the show returns. The producer said that the heroes are “really clever and strong,” but she pointed out that they are in a “pretty precarious situation.”
Kang said that the heroes are going to be in a “fun little action adventure” that will have some “horror.” She added that the fans will have to wait and see if all of them will be able to make it out of the cave alive, which suggest that someone may be left behind.
While the heroes are trapped in the cave, there is another conflict brewing in the Whisperers camp. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is with Alpha (Samantha Morton) and he is trying to find ways to manipulate her. His challenge is with Beta (Ryan Hurst), who doesn’t like Negan or trust him.

Although the actress will be leaving the show, she will be around for new projects. She has signed an overall deal with ABC Studios, Deadline reported.
