There will be a time jump in “The Walking Dead” Season 10, executive producer Angela Kang teased in a recent interview. The producer also talked about the conflict on the show that will have a “Cold War” feel to it.

“The Walking Dead” Season 10 will be set a few months after the events in the previous season. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kang said that the last time fans saw Rosita (Christian Serratos), she was pregnant. That has changed on the show, the producer teased, but she didn’t give any details about the baby.

The time jump also means that some of the characters have changed and evolved. Kang said that some of the characters have done some “unexpected things” during this time gap.

The plot of the next season will be about “propaganda and paranoia,” which is based on Robert Kirkman’s comic books. The conflict on the show this time around, which will mostly be centered around the Whisperers, will feel like the Cold War, according to the producer.

What will make “The Walking Dead” Season 10 unique is that the heroes will be dealing with issues like PTSD after the traumatic events that they have faced. Kang said that the team has also been working on a different style of fights because the period in which the show is set now is different from the time when people used automatic weapons.

There will be some new characters who will be joining the TV series in the next season. The producers are keeping the details about the new characters under wraps for now, but Kang previously told Entertainment Weekly that they will be bringing the comic book character Dante on the show.

The producers are yet to confirm the return of fan-favorite character Maggie (Lauren Cohan) in “The Walking Dead” Season 10. With Rick (Andrew Lincoln) gone, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may emerge as the new lead of the show, Screen Rant reported.
