Wall Street opens lower on North Korea worries
Stocks opened lower on Tuesday after a long weekend as tensions surrounding North Korea's missile tests unsettled investors and hopes for a quick economic recovery in the near-term ebbed.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> shed 32.18 points, or 0.39 percent, to 8,245.14. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> dropped 4.27 points, or 0.48 percent, to 882.73. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> fell 7.02 points, or 0.41 percent, to 1,684.99.
