Walt Disney, ADM, LinkedIn, Kellogg: Earnings Reports To Watch, Feb. 4-7
About halfway through the fourth-quarter earnings season, investors and traders will soon hear from several more closely watched players, including Kellogg, LinkedIn, Visa, Walt Disney, and Yum Brands.
Among the 231 companies in the S&P 500 index that have posted earnings for the fourth quarter, 69.3 percent have beaten expectations, according to Thomson Reuters data. That’s a higher proportion than during the past four quarters and above the average since 1994.
Overall, S&P 500 fourth-quarter earnings rose 3.7 percent, Thomson Reuters data showed. That's above a 1.9 percent forecast at the beginning of the earnings season, but well below a 9.9 percent profit growth forecast on Oct. 1.
We ran a screen and produced a list of 60 notable companies set to report their earnings Feb. 4-7. We have highlighted their expected reporting dates and times, along with analysts' earnings-per-share and revenue estimates from Reuters, as well as the stocks' past 12 months’ performances.
Monday Before Market Open, or BMO:
