The Wanted member Tom Parker shared an update about his health a year after he was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma. The singer took to Instagram Wednesday to tell his followers his brain tumor is now under control and stable.

Sharing a photo of his family, he wrote, "I'm sat here with tears in my eyes as I tell you. We've got my brain tumor under control. We had the results from my latest scan… and I'm delighted to say it is STABLE."

Parker added that he's experiencing "a mix of emotions" after hearing the news.

"Such a mix of emotions. We couldn't ask for any more really at this point; a year or so into this journey. Honestly over the moon. We can sleep a little easier tonight. Thank you for all your love and support over the last 12+ months. Love from Me, Kelsey, Aurelia & BO," he continued.

Parker first revealed his diagnosis in October 2020. At that time, he said his condition was terminal.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, the 32-year-old artist said he had been experiencing seizures when his doctors told him that the diagnosis was the "worst-case scenario."

"They pulled the curtain around my bed and said, 'It's a brain tumor.' All I could think was, 'F---ing hell!' I was in shock," he told the magazine. "It's stage four glioblastoma and they've said it's terminal. It was a lot to deal with by myself. I still haven’t processed it."

In January, he shared in an Instagram update saying there was a significant reduction in the size of his tumor.

"I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumor and I am responding well to treatment. Every day I'm keeping on the fight to shrink this bastard!" he wrote.

Since then, Parker has regularly offered a glimpse into his treatment on social media and his condition has continued to improve throughout the year.

Last month, The Wanted members talked about Parker's condition in an interview. They said it has reminded them of the fun they had during their time together.

"Obviously we were all there to jump to his support," Max George said. "And then we kind of started talking to each other as a group after that."
