UPDATE: 3:50 p.m. EDT — Washington University in St. Louis' Danforth campus gave the all-clear Wednesday after one person was injured in a shooting, according to its emergency alerts website.
An anonymous source told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch the victim was a woman who'd been shot in the arm. Law enforcement were reportedly searching for a black SUV linked to the suspect.
UPDATE: 3:33 p.m. EDT — One person was shot on the Danforth campus of Washington University in St. Louis on Wednesday and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to tweets from the school's verified account.
Other details were not released by the school, though KTVI reported the victim was a woman. It wasn't clear whether the shelter-in-place order had been lifted.
UPDATE: 3:23 p.m. EDT — Students were hiding Wednesday afternoon on the Danforth campus of Washington University in St. Louis in Missouri, KTVI reported. The school confirmed one person had been injured in a shooting near the Mallinckrodt Center, which is the institution's student union building and performing arts center.
"Continue to shelter in place," the university wrote on its emergency alerts page. "We will share information as we have it."
