South Korean boy band BTS's members talked about their latest hit single "Dynamite"on Monday in an interview on NBC’s "The Today Show."

The members, RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, and J-Hope, made a remote appearance for an interview on the American morning show where they talked about their first all-English single "Dynamite" which released on Aug. 21. They also talked about their upcoming album, breaking records, taking over rankings on charts, MTV VMA awards, and more.

When asked about why they decided to make an all-English song, RM responded by saying that they loved the demo and decided to do something new and challenging with it.

"When we first listened to the demo, we just loved it as it is, so we thought, 'Why not do it this way?' So we just kept the demo and recorded it, and it became a whole new challenge for us too," he said.

"I hope fans will draw a lot of energy from this new song," added V.

The members had previously appeared on "The Today Show" earlier this year with the release of their album titled "Map of the Soul: 7." There was a huge gathering of fans who showed up to see the members being interviewed. When asked about what they think while looking back at that time, Suga mentioned that they had fun and would like to do it again.

"We miss it – we had fun. And we would like to go back and do it again soon," said Suga.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the members have had to postpone their world tour. However, they have been actively working on a new album.

"I think this was a healing process for us too. But working on the album made us realize that there’s something we can do," said Jimin while talking about BTS's upcoming album.

"It’s going to be new and fresh, and it’s going to be a little different from the single 'Dynamite' as well. That’s all I can say," added RM.

Recently, BTS and their label Big Hit Entertainment had announced a $1 million donation to Black Lives Matter, in the wake of George Floyd’s death. This donation was also matched by their fans, the BTS Army.

While talking about the donation, Suga expressed that they want the world to be a better place.

"We just want the world to be a better place. We don’t regard ourselves as doing great deeds. But we do feel thankful that many people relate to our actions and in turn, take action from their end," he said.

Speaking about not being able to meet their fans, the members expressed that they greatly miss them.

"We are, like, crazy we miss them so much!" said RM.

BTS will be performing "Dynamite" for the first time at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards which will broadcast live at 8 p.m. Sunday.
