[Watch] Chrissy Teigen Chisels A Hole In Wall Of Her Multimillion-Dollar Mansion To Rescue Pet Hamster
Chrissy Teigen doesn't mind going to great lengths for her pets. On Sunday, she took to Instagram to share how she had to drill a hole in the wall just to find the family's missing pet hamster, Peanut Butter.
"Rescue 911. Peanut Butter the hamster has been missing for 3 days. Is he in the wall? Let's find out," she wrote.
Teigen revealed in her post that Peanut Butter escaped from her habitat and got stuck in the wall. In the video footage she shared on Instagram, the wife of John Legend was shown wearing a lavish floral bathrobe with white fluffy trim as she peeked behind a curtain with a flashlight. Some of her friends were helping her. "Maybe we are insane?" she captioned the clip.
She then added, "NOT CRAZY," after they heard a faint scratching sound.
The video showed Teigen climbing on a ladder and making holes in the wall with a hammer. After chiseling a hole in the multimillion-dollar Los Angeles mansion, Teigen spotted the nose of her missing hamster sticking in and out of the punctured area of the wooden wall. "I CHISELED A HOLE AND LOOK," she wrote.
"It's okay, Peanut Butter. We're coming," someone is heard saying aloud in the background. When the hamster still didn't come out, Teigen tried to hold up some seeds to the hole to try to lure her pet out, before holding up her plastic hamster ball. Ultimately, Peanut Butter came out of the wall safe and sound.
The last part of the search and rescue video showed Teigen and her friends breaking out into laughter after Peanut Butter was finally safe in its master's arms.
In March 2019, Teigen and their 5-year-old daughter, Luna, bought a hamster and named it Peanut Butter, but the rodent died last December. They bought another hamster last Christmas and named it after their late pet.
