WATCH: Rapper Logic Wakes Up Wife Jessica Andrea With String Section For Her Birthday
Rapper Logic pulled a Kanye West Monday when he surprised his wife, Jessica Andrea, with an orchestra Monday. He had the musicians play a string section from the show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
“Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife @itsJessAndrea I Love You with all my Heart!” he tweeted Monday, sharing a video of her morning: “This is how I woke up my darling Wife @itsjessandrea on her 25th birthday!!!”
He might have been inspired by West, who surprised wife Kim Kardashian with an orchestra for Mother's Day last year. The “Famous” rapper arranged for a live orchestra to play in the middle of their living room. They performed songs like “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen” and “Tomorrow” from the movie “Annie.”
By Tuesday, Logic's birthday gift to his wife garnered more than 1.1 million views on YouTube. It was one of the top-trending videos of the morning, falling second to comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who announced his infant son had heart surgery.
Logic, whose birth name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, excitedly waited for his wife to walk on to their balcony in the backyard. He didn’t dress up for the occasion, wearing a “Seinfeld” T-shrit, sweats and sneakers. It was the perfect compliment to his wife, who clearly just rolled out of bed.
When she walked out on to the balcony, she insistently cupped her hand over her mouth and smiled widely.
“Come here,” Logic says. “I love you! It your birthday.”
Clearly loving the present, his wife pretends to conduct the orchestra.
“I got a flute!” Logic shouts, and then started to “awkwardly” dance around.
After his video went viral, Logic went on a Twitter rant about internet trolls and naysayers in real life. His message was posted in its entirety below:
“Just want to take a moment to say fuck everybody else. Be you! Be proud of who you are what you believe and where you come from! Stay positive, peaceful and find happiness within yourself, not the acceptance of others! Because you're amazing all on your own. And to all the fans who support me for being me! Thank you I appreciate it you mean so much to me I'm not sure how you express it. I know there's people out there that say things about how I act or blah blah blah. But I'm comfortable in my skin and so happy with who I am. And for years I wasn't because I was made to believe that the fact I like anime, or Star Wars or positivity was ‘gay’ or ‘stupid’ or so many. Disgusting things people say on the internet! But I’m here today, standing tall and saying be YOU! Whoever you're because you're so beautiful. It's okay to be different! You can't stand out and fit in at the same time! So just be you unapologetically! Find peace and be you! Thank you so much to the people who support me. I wake up every day and can't believe I get to be myself!!! I can't believe it!!! I Love you Everybody.”
