The sender of the creepy message is Oki, who lives in the same apartment as Minare Koda. “Wave, Listen to Me” episode 7 pick things up from episode 6 as Minare and Mizuho Nanba investigate Oki’s apartment after they receive the fax message. The anime is also called “Nami yo Kittekure.”

According to the official “Wave, Listen to Me” episode 7 synopsis, Minare and Mizuho meet Oki in his flat, and they see a talisman, a giant vase, and several amulets. The house seems to be haunted by a mysterious and strong smell.

The synopsis also reveals that there are six bags in the room, and the size of the bag can fit one small woman. Minare is convinced that Ritsuko, the woman Oki is looking for, is in one of the bags.

Now, Minare decides to call the police and let the authorities handle the matter.

Meanwhile, in the preview trailer for episode 7, Minare sees a countless number of amulets, a weird-looking vase, a black liquid that reeks of rotten flesh. Meanwhile, Oki continues to wail as if he saw something terrifying. The trailer teases that an Onmyoji will be at the scene to contain any evil spirit.

Onmyoji is a practitioner of Onmyodo, which is a traditional Japanese ritual revolving around occultism and natural science.

In the previous episode of “Wave, Listen to Me,” titled “There’s No Such Thing,” Minare is looking forward to working at the radio station as a host. She remembers how Mato encouraged her and told her that soon thousands of people would be dying to hear her voice.

Later, Mizuho informs Minare of strange fax addressed to her. “I am cursed. I think you will understand. My girlfriend is dead but she hasn’t forgotten me. I will be dragged to the other side if this goes on,” read the content of the fax from Oki.

Fans can watch “Wave, Listen to Me” episode 7 online via live streaming mode on Funimation. The episode is scheduled to telecast Friday (May 15). Currently, the installments are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
