‘A Welcome Home Christmas’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime 2020” programming is set to continue with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “A Welcome Home Christmas,” starring Jana Kramer and Brandon Quinn.
Lifetime fans will be happy to see Kramer, who got her start as a country singer and as Alex Dupree on the later seasons of “One Tree Hill,” but has become a staple when it comes to the network’s holiday films. In recent years she starred in both “Christmas in Mississippi” and “Christmas in Louisiana.”
Quinn, however, is a newbie to the network. He previously starred in the Hallmark Channel films “Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses” and “Love Takes Flight,” but also starred on the Freeform series “The Fosters” as Gabe.
So what will happen when this Lifetime vet and newbie team up for this new movie? According to a synopsis, this film will honor military veterans—as well as see some holiday love bloom.
“Chloe (Kramer) has always supported various military organizations, including the town’s Army toy drive for Christmas,” the synopsis reads. “This year, she is paired up with Michael (Quinn), a vet who recently returned home, and together they recruit other veterans and active military personnel to help in the cause.”
The partnership quickly sees the community working together and bringing a very special holiday season to the area—but also sees the two receiving their own special holiday gifts.
“As the community gears up for the Officer’s Christmas Ball, where all the kids will meet Santa Claus and receive their gifts, Michael and Chloe begin to realize the greatest gift this season has been each other’s company,” the synopsis says.
“A Welcome Home Christmas” premieres Saturday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
