The finale for “Westworld” Season 1 is inching its way on television, and the last few episodes leading up to that shocking, heartbreaking end promises to deliver a lot of surprises.

“Westworld” Season 1, Episode 7 has been entitled “Trompe L’Oeil.” The synopsis, shared by Den of Geek, remains quite mysterious. It simply reads: “Dolores and William journey into treacherous terrain; Maeve delivers an ultimatum; Bernard considers his next move.”

As for its promo, which is called “Under My Control,” a “demonstration” was shown involving Ford’s “dangerous” hosts. In that demonstration, the workers in Westworld “found something disturbing.”

The scene then flashes to Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton), who told her operators, “I’ve prided myself on being a survivor. But surviving is just another loop.”

Before she is taken into the lab, she was seen clutching tightly to a knife. Will she plan on hurting anyone?

Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) continues to ponder about her existence. “I was so sure of the world. Now it feels like a lie,” she told William (Jimmi Simpson).

The trailer ends with Dr. Robert Ford’s (Anthony Hopkins) chilling words: “The hosts are the ones who are free. Free - here - under my control.”

Earlier, Wood told The Huffington Post that the episodes leading up to the finale will have “your heart broken and your mind blown,” so fans better come prepared.

“We’ve established that the farther out you go, the more intense the game gets, and man, were they not kidding because when we started getting the scripts after episodes it was like, ‘Whoa! OK!'” Wood said. “Not only are they dropping bombs left and right, but some of the days on set, I would be like, ‘Look, I’ve seen some stuff, and this is WILD.’”

“Westworld” airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
