What Caused Harry Styles' Paranoia; Former One Direction Singer Never Felt So Unsafe
Harry Styles never thought his act of kindness would give him so much anxiety. It reportedly went so far as the former One Direction singer hiring an evening security and locking his bedroom door at night just to make him feel safe in his own home.
A few months ago, Styles extended an arm helping out Pablo Tarazaga-Orero. The former One Direction singer found the 26-year-old Spanish national sleeping in a bus stop outside his home in London. Styles reportedly felt sorry for the guy who was homeless, sleeping out in the cold so he pulled his car next to the bus stop and offered Tarazaga-Orero money so he could find himself somewhere to sleep or buy some food.
Following his request for some edamame beans from the singer, Styles went to a nearby vegan café and bought him wraps and muffins. After the former One Direction singer passed the bag of food to the homeless man, he asked him if he wanted to go to a restaurant and eat with him.
Styles reportedly felt uneasy after seeing the man’s facial expression. Just as when he thought that was it, he was wrong. Things escalated and what started as a simple “helping out” encounter turned out as a stalking crusade.
Styles’ stalker left notes and money through his letter box. Not only that, he even followed Styles and camped outside the singer’s house for two months. Despite cautions from the police, the young man reportedly continued stalking Styles.
There was one incident back in May when Styles went out for jogging and Tarazaga-Orero reportedly tried to grab him. On his way back, the homeless man reportedly blocked Styles and demanded for money.
Styles reportedly admitted he got really scared. His anxiety went so far as him hiring a night security which before was unnecessary. Because he felt unsafe in his own home, the former One Direction singer reportedly kept on locking his bedroom door at night. It even got to extent of finding himself checking for weak spots in his home.
Styles said the only way he’d feel safe again was to have no contact with him; hence, District Judge Nigel Dean issued an indefinite restraining order against Tarazaga-Orero, prohibiting him from going within 270 yards of Styles, Daily Mail reported. Furthermore, Judge Dean ordered the young man not to have direct nor indirect contact with Styles.
Spared from going behind bars after Hendon Magistrates Court found him guilty of stalking Styles, the former One Direction singer’s stalker needed to comply with a 12-month community order, including a 30-day rehabilitation activity. The court also ordered him to pay £335.
Why would Tarazaga-Orero do such thing?
Rafael Krezeszewsky, the singer’s neighbor, reportedly told the court that the Spanish national claimed he was Styles’ soulmate and was spiritually protecting him.
